Environmental Responsibility
At Virprac we take our environmental responsibility seriously.
Centralising services can reduce transportation-related carbon emissions by about 69% or 3.2 metric tons of carbon dioxide each year, by dropping 3 days of average travel to the working week. Our centralised service model dramatically reduces the impact individual GP practices have on the environment. Our daily transactional work is also completely paper free. The average office worker consumes about 10,000 sheets of paper each year, honestly! Whatever contribution we can make, however small, can make a difference.
Silverlink Biodiversity Park
We are located in an 18 acre Biodiversity Park in the North East of England.
The reserve holds significant biodiversity value, with woodland, scrub and hedgerow, grassland and tall herb, wetland and exposed rock habitats.
Roe deer, fox, brown hare and rabbit can all be discovered in the park's grassland, whilst kestrels are regularly seen hovering overhead.
The grassland is also home to many species of butterfly such as meadow brown, common blue and small white.

Our Why
Practice Managers need to mitigate the risk of service interruption and maintain business continuity, even in the most difficult of circumstances. We have all experienced staff shortages, retirement of experienced staff and premises difficulties .. just a few of the challenges facing practices on a daily basis.
